Atrial fibrillation shoot

BMS Pfizer

Atrial fibrillation (AF) is a heart condition that causes an irregular and often abnormally fast heart rate. We needed to create a patient story to showcase the daily lives of patients and how AF affects them.

My role was varied on the day: welcoming and briefing the actor; setting up the days expectations; and running through the script and selecting the actor’s outfit. I staged the shoot, creating a comfortable environment that would reflect our patient story with limited props (mostly sourced with materials from my own home!).

Working with the Cameraman, Ray – we revisited various sections of the film, directing emphasis and emotion on certain sections. Together, we worked with the actor to create the right tone for the story.
